E' un po' che non scrivo sul mio blog, ho avuto un anno abbastanza impegnativo tra realizzazione di Hypnosis, ulteriori progetti e lavori fotografici e studio, di conseguenza solo adesso sono riuscito a ritagliare e dedicare un attimo del mio tempo per poter scrivere un mio pensiero sul blog. Spero quindi di realizzare un post interessante e che in parte possa perdonare la mia assenza. Grazie per la vostra lettura.

Cosa sia l'arte nessuno lo sa ed è seriamente molto complicato dare un'interpretazione oggettiva senza essere smentiti e contraddetti; ciò che sappiamo, attraverso studi e ricerche sulla creatività dell'essere umano, è che l'arte fa parte di un processo creativo innato presente dentro ogni essere umano già in tenera età, periodo in cui ci si approccia alla vita grazie ad esperienze asensoriali. Raggiunta la pubertà quel processo creativo piano piano tenderà a dissolversi, ma se alimentato continuerà ad essere onnipresente e caratterizzante della nostra personalità.
Fare arte attraverso le immagini fotografiche è possibile e personalmente sono da sempre un fervido sostenitore della macchina fotografica come mezzo di sviluppo artistico ed espressivo, sicuramente differente da altri mezzi creativi, ma non meno efficace.
La fotografia, se intesa come forma artistica e quindi individuale, soggettiva ed interiore, è quanto più vicino ci sia alla pittura e come essa permette di instaurare un feeling contemplativo con i soggetti ripresi attraverso le linee e le forme, le tonalità, il chiaro e lo scuro, l'emotività, elementi che ben delineeranno il nostro stato d'animo.
A differenza del pittore paesaggista, che può inventare di sana pianta la distribuzione degli elementi all'interno della sua tela, il fotografo paesaggista deve essere un abile pre-visualizzatore e compositore, osservando, strutturando e giustapponendo all'interno del frame gli elementi presenti nella scena reale, senza ovviamente alterarne la naturalezza e senza interferire con l'ambiente, ciò permetterà di realizzare un'efficace ed evocativa composizione.
Personalmente in ambito artistico fotografico credo che la composizione sia l'atto (mi piace definirlo in questo modo) più importante dell'intero processo creativo; attraverso la composizione struttureremo la forma ed il linguaggio artistico e creativo con cui descrivere il nostro stato d'animo, le nostre idee ed i nostri pensieri. Sul processo creativo trovo molto interessanti i pensieri e gli studi del grande artista Bruno Munari, che definiva il processo creativo in 4 funzioni distinte e significative:
la fantasia, funzione che ci fa pensare ad un qualcosa che prima non c'era e che può anche essere irrealizzabile; l'invenzione, funzione che ci permette di pensare ad un qualcosa di funzionale che prima non c'era, senza preoccuparsi dei fattori estetici; la creatività che utilizza fantasia ed invenzione per realizzare un qualcosa di realizzabile e funzionante. In fine vi è l'immaginazione, funzione di pre-visualizzazione di tutto ciò che produrremo facendo interagire la fantasia, l'invenzione e la creatività.
Tutte queste funzioni sono alimentate dalla nostra esperienza e dalle nostre conoscenze senza le quali non riusciremo ad immaginare o fantasticare. Come potremmo mai fantasticare, inventare o creare un qualcosa senza un punto di riferimento da cui iniziare o che ci possa ispirare?
Esempio: come potremmo mai strutturare una storia su di un paesaggio boschivo senza essere mai entrati a contatto con gli elementi di un bosco e senza conoscerne le sensazioni?
Quindi ad alimentare costantemente il nostro processo creativo sarà la conoscenza di ciò che ignoriamo e l'esperienza (della nostra vita e di ciò che ci circonda).
Più aumenteremo le nostre esperienze, più approfondiremo le nostre conoscenze e più il nostro processo creativo riuscirà a far dialogare al meglio le sue funzioni.
Concludendo sono quindi dell'idea che seppur con metodi e tecniche differenti, anche il fotografo può sviluppare un processo creativo in grado di competere con linguaggi artistici visivi contemporanei, ciò gli permette di esprimersi liberamente attraverso immagini che nell'insieme costruiranno la sua figura ed identità artistica ben distinguibile nelle sue immagini e nei suoi progetti fotografici.

What art is nobody knows and it is seriously very complicated to give an objective interpretation without being denied and contradicted; what we know, through studies and research on the creativity of the human being, is that art is part of an innate creative process present within every human being from an early age, a period in which one approaches life thanks to asensory experiences. Once puberty is reached, that creative process will gradually tend to dissolve, but if nourished it will continue to be omnipresent and characterizing our personality.
Making art through photographic images is possible and personally I have always been a fervent supporter of the camera as a means of artistic and expressive development, certainly different from other creative means, but no less effective.
Photography, if understood as an artistic and therefore individual, subjective and interior form, is as close to painting as it is and how it allows you to establish a contemplative feeling with the subjects shot through lines and shapes, shades, light and the dark, the emotionality, elements that will clearly delineate our mood.
Unlike the landscape painter, who can completely invent the distribution of the elements within his canvas, the landscape photographer must be a skilled pre-viewer and composer, observing, structuring and juxtaposing the elements present in the frame within the frame. real scene, obviously without altering its naturalness and without interfering with the environment, this will allow to create an effective and evocative composition.
Personally in the photographic art field I believe that the composition is the most important act (I like to define it in this way) of the entire creative process; through the composition we will structure the form and the artistic and creative language with which to describe our mood, our ideas and our thoughts.
On the creative process I find very interesting the thoughts and studies of the great artist Bruno Munari, who defined the creative process in 4 distinct and significant functions:
fantasy, a function that makes us think of something that was not there before and that can also be unattainable; invention, a function that allows us to think of something functional that was not there before, without worrying about aesthetic factors; creativity that uses imagination and invention to create something feasible and functional. Finally there is the imagination, a function of pre-visualization of all that we will produce by making fantasy, invention and creativity interact.
All these functions are fueled by our experience and our knowledge without which we will not be able to imagine or fantasize. How could we ever fantasize, invent or create something without a point of reference to start from or to inspire us?
Example: how could we ever structure a story on a wooded landscape without ever having come into contact with the elements of a wood and without knowing their sensations?
So to constantly feed our creative process will be the knowledge of what we ignore and the experience (of our life and of what surrounds us).
The more we increase our experiences, the more we deepen our knowledge and the more our creative process will be able to make its functions better communicate.
In conclusion, I am therefore of the idea that albeit with different methods and techniques, even the photographer can develop a creative process capable of competing with contemporary visual artistic languages, this allows him to express himself freely through images that together will build his figure and identity. clearly distinguishable in his images and photographic projects.
